What are your policies when a client gets charged for a “self defense” situation? Are you guys representing that client throughout the whole process or just drop the client after the investigation finds the claim is not supported by the evidence or facts of the case in the DA’s eyes.
I guess it does not mean he was wrong just because the DA decided to press charges.
I’ve seen a case that after the investigation the CCW insurance dropped the client when the DA decided to press charges against their client. I guess that’s when he needed their services the most.
