Concealed carry permits are typically issued at the state level, and the laws governing them vary between states. Some states have concealed carry reciprocity agreements, allowing permit holders from one state to carry concealed weapons in another state, provided they follow the host state’s laws. See Concealed Carry Reciprocity.
